This is an overview of my research activities on the Hesperid butterfly genus Carcharodus Hübner, 1819. Some preliminary results are also presented. (Please note: These pages are not a scientific publication and therefore do not fulfil all the strict rules that are applicable in such a case.)

Since 2007 I am investigating this group of eight species in order to document its morphology, distribution and ecology in detail and to reach a better understanding of the systematics within the genus.
